TOMATIN
Tomatin Distillery is just twenty five minutes south of Inverness. This is the home of a single malt, Tomatin Legacy, also known in the USA as Tomatin Dualchas.
This distillery can be combined with a Loch Ness, Inverness or Culloden Battlefield Tour.

GLEN ORD
Home to The Singleton, Glen Ord is just fifteen minutes from Inverness and twenty minutes from Invergordon. The Singleton collection includes 12, 15 and 18 year old malts made from local barley from The Black Isle
This distillery can be combined with a Loch Ness Tour, Inverness Tour or Culloden Battlefield Tour.

BALBLAIR
Less than an hour from Inverness and only thirty minutes from your cruise ship Balblair has been making the amber nectar since 1790 and is one of the oldest single malt distilleries.
This distillery can be combined with Millionaires View, Falls of Shin and Dunrobin Castle Tour.

DALMORE
Dalmore is only five minutes from your cruise ship and half an hour from Inverness. Their collection includes 12, 15 and 18 year old single malts, whisky has been distilled here since 1839.

GLENMORANGIE
The “ Men O’ Tain ” originally sixteen but many more now have been distilling here since 1843. Glenmorangie is only twenty minutes from your cruise ship and forty minutes from Inverness. Glenmorangie is probably one of the best known malts and is distilled in the tallest stills in Scotland.

GLEN ORD
Old Clynelish was originally built in 1819 although nowadays has been replaced by a more modern and larger distillery opposite the old site in Brora. Not many distilleries can say their malt is made from water that flows over gold seams but this is true of Clynelish. This distillery is about half an hour from Invergordon and an hour from Inverness.

DORNOCH DISTILLERY
This is a very unique location in that the distillery is set in the grounds of Dornoch Castle Hotel. The Thomson brothers have a fantastic whisky bar where whisky flight tastings are available as well as being able to taste their very own organic gin Thomson Bros. Although no tours are available of the distillery it is a great opportunity to discover more about the distillation of both whisky and gin on the same site as well as being able to visit the beautiful town of Dornoch famous for its Cathedral and Golf Course.
